@timlinehan Sadly, the length of the process means that, in the interim, an awful lot of young people are unable to access their education as they are entitled. They, and their families are suffering the quite awful mental & physical health, financial, and professional impacts as a result.

@timlinehan Absolutely. Currently working with our children's school exploring opportunities around this. A very long, slow process. There are some very curious & open members of SLT keen to innovate but there are more who are deeply cautious and resistant. It's a process.

@samirabhac This is really awful. Instances like this leave a hard scar that endures. It's awful as a single incident, the fact that this is not an isolated experience should concern everyone and requires urgent action. Our green spaces, our parks, our fields, our beaches belong to us all.

@KosarZahra @ASPolice Oh my goodness. This is awful. I am so sorry this happened to you, the children and their parents. This should never happen. These are our parks, ALL of our parks. No-one should ever feel unsafe in spaces that are rightfully theirs. I hope the police take this very seriously.

@RoryStewartUK Absolutely. Green spaces save £billions in costs downstream. However, given impact of 'green gentrification' it needs to be supported by Housing & planning policies & regs preventing green spaces being the preserve of wealthy with lower income people forced from their community

Urban trees are great! Such planting schemes need to be supported by housing and planning polices to prevent 'green gentrification' with associated rising prices pushing those whose health benefits most from green spaces being priced out of their communities.
