Unpopular opinion: Today two pilots lost their lives because we have an air traffic control system inherently vulnerable to human error.
Even great humans make mistakes sometimes. Machines should be issuing clearances, not human controllers.

@JJWhit2020@urbanpulseca@dom_lucre Sry twitters small message limit limited what I can say. But ya. Due to orbital dynamics the rocks work like a birdshot shell. The force isn't enough to drastically change orbit after collision so they end up in orbits that impact hours before or after one another (or not at all)
@JJWhit2020@urbanpulseca@dom_lucre comets freq lose big chunks of stuff during orbits end up in a much similar orbit to the comet. Meteors can have the same effect from colliding with other rocks. The debris hits the earth's atmosphere in diff spots at different times. When space rocks break they spread out
@kineticquant@NWSCLE@jacecraftmiller It's caused by air being compressed in front of the rock as it moves through the atmosphere at such high speed
Think of how water behaves when a fast object hits it. It's the same with air.
@SecretSquaff@vncnzocsano So aa mile drive taking 7 minute by car but 37 minutes by walking is wirse then a mule drive takiny 7 minutes by car ahd 1 hr 30 minutes walking
@SecretSquaff@vncnzocsano That's what the qrt said. Last mile connection hence why both take 7 minutes in a car
Yet by walking it takes twice as long in the us due to lack of safe infrastructure
@bigwoods86@TheLaurenChen What about the hundreds of shootings that aren't?
What about the fact one of the deadliest shootings targeted mostly lgtbq people ? How about the face trans people are beat daily at schools? How about the fact that you only focus on a tiny stat
@BePrepared72@NASA@NASAArtemis@NASAKennedy They're reused engines that have flown on countless flights
They're also extremely reliable with only 1 put of 405 engines that flew failing in flight!
I use a red and white cane (same as blind people use ) I'm not blind tho! Just severely visually impaired
A mobility aid is just that! It allows mobility, you don't have to be fully disabled to need an aid!
Wheelchair bound ICE protester seems to temporarily have a divine intervention and is able to stand up out of his wheelchair and grab what he dropped
These are paid actors

Hey @NWSCLE ! I'm a Skywarn trained weather spotter 2 E Barberton
I measured 4.5 inches of snow from 8am to 8pm
I used a "snowboard" and cleared it twice to account for snow compaction and snow sitting on grass
During the entire storm I measured 6 inches
Snow depth is 9 inches
I've reported 2.0 inches of new snowfall to @NWSCLE
My side street unfortunately remains unplowed
Someone should order the meteorologist at NWS some Pizza
