I was teaching population pyramids to my year 8’s, one of them said that it is old fashioned because it left out non binary people so she came up with a solution and said ‘well we don’t call them pyramids anymore anyway and now everyone is happy’ #lovemyjob #geographyteacher

I just can’t get my head around why clinically vulnerable (not clinically extremely vulnerable) people are still expected to go into work and school when this strain is easier to catch and now even more likely to die! Brill 🙃

@teachernotrobot I was asked how I would check progress of students if I could not circulate (I had put that in my lesson plan that I sent to them). Threw me off as it was the first lockdown! They asked very similar questions to what they would have done in the interview for me ☺️ good luck!

@karamballes @MrsHumanities Finally 🙌🏻 my school (sec) a y8 class was sent home due to 1 confirmed case.. the whole year group are a bubble not just that one class. We don’t know who the student is so cannot say for certain if we have had ‘close contact’ and staff are only sent home if they show symptoms🙄
