DEI is simply Corporate America’s excuse to fortify their current left leaning bureaucracy. They know they have nothing to fear from those hired under that policy. Why? Follower mindset.

@_The_Prophet__ Great analysis. This mindset extends to every large legacy company in every industry. They’re all utilites for their core products/brands masquerading as innovators.
White male leaders institute meritocracy… hiring the most talented men/women and hottest women. Asian female leaders institute bureaucracy… hiring their friends and controllable subordinates. White men simply don’t culturally fit in a bureaucratic framework.
All it takes is one talented and/or hot Asian woman (or DEI hire) becoming a senior leader for the majority of high paying jobs in that organization to end up out of reach for white males. Until the organization inevitably dies from failing to adapt/innovate.
