Wow. The North Slope Borough Assembly passed a change to their law yesterday that allows the spouse and legal dependents of the mayor to travel at the expense of the borough, as well as the spouses of Assembly members.

For some context, Mayor Josiah Patkotak makes almost $300,000 a year! And his dad, Crawford Patkotak, is the chair of the North Slope Borough Assembly.

ELECTION INTEGRITY: It is December 3rd and they're still finding ballots in counties across California. In the 13th District they found so many ballots that Democrat Adam Gray has a 143 vote lead over Rep Duarte. They will find additional ballots today in two more Stanislaus and Fresno counties so Gray's lead will likely grow. If things stand the Republicans will have a single seat majority in the House.
