The killing of protestors in AJK as reported by those on the ground and carried by credible social media handles marks another dark moment in our history, perhaps the darkest in the history of AJK. No credible election was possible in the circumstances of the last few months and yesterday’s events have sadly vindicated PTI’s decision to stay away from the electoral farce in deference to the wishes of the vast majority of the people of AJK. WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW:

🔴 Thousands of peaceful citizens are marching from Rawalakot to Muzaffarabad in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), demanding their basic rights: employment, justice, and accountability.

🔴 These are ordinary people—fathers, brothers, students, laborers—exercising their constitutional right to peaceful protest.

🔴 The government has deployed HEAVY SECURITY FORCES to crush this peaceful movement.

🔴 LAST NIGHT, forces used GUNS and LIVE FIRING on citizens trying to reach Rawalakot to join the march.

🔴 Reports of injuries, arrests, and brutal crackdowns are emerging.

🔴 The government is spreading FALSE PROPAGANDA to justify violence against its own people.

🔴 THE THREAT OF A MASSACRE IS REAL.

WHY WE NEED YOU HERE - NOW:

✅ Independent Verification– The world must see the truth: peaceful citizens vs. state violence.

✅ Deterrence– Your presence can prevent mass bloodshed.

✅ Documentation– Real-time reporting will counter government lies and preserve evidence.

✅ Accountability– Your eyes ensure violations won't be hidden or forgotten.

✅ Moral Duty– When democracy dies and lives are threatened, silence is complicity.

3️⃣ Issue public statements demanding restraint and respect for peaceful assembly.

4️⃣ Engage with the Pakistani government to stop the use of force against peaceful protesters.

5️⃣ Provide real-time coverage so the world sees what is unfolding in AJK.
