Assistant Professor and Cancer Researcher @Bos_CHIP @BostonChildrens @harvardmed | Integrating clinics & genomics for data-driven innovation of cancer therapies
Excited to share our latest work in @ScienceMagazine
(https://t.co/kJFsJEIf0S). Building on the foundational work of the PCAWG and HMF consortia, we established a compendium of mutation events in somatic whole-genome sequencing data of 3,949 patients from 19 tumor types.
Fall lab party - crushed our first Escape the Room challenge in record time! The lab has grown so nicely this year, and I couldn’t be prouder of the incredible team spirit and passionate work for science. Many successes and graduations to celebrate tonight! #ProudMentorMoment
🥁 We are excited to announce our new Special Issue: "Computational Discovery Tools in #Genomics and Precision Medicine" lead by Dr. @FelixDietlein from Harvard Medical School.

Lab trip to Millinocket, Maine for the solar eclipse. What a memorable experience. Rarely been that speechless, except for the amazing work + incredible team I am privileged to work with! Weather, nature, traffic, and eclipse - everything worked out just perfectly!
Enjoyed an inspiring talk by Dr. @FelixDietlein on noncoding mutations in @ColumbiaSysBio.
Grateful for the opportunity to share lunch and engage in a fascinating research conversation 🧬
Looking forward to collaborating soon!👩💻
Lab holiday party 2023 (time flies!). Celebrating our recent NIH DP2 Award, 3 fellowship grants awarded to trainees in my lab, and welcoming 2 new additions to the lab. It's simply an extraordinary group of people to work with. Thank you for giving me new inspirations every day!
Thrilled to receive an @NIHDirector New Innovator Award this year. Can’t wait for the incredible science this 5-year grant will enable. Thanks for the support from @harvardmed@Bos_CHIP@BostonChildrens@DanaFarber@broadinstitute. Proud of my lab members for their amazing work!
Summer lab party – celebrating lab graduates heading off to Dartmouth and Stanford and welcoming new folks joining my lab from HSPH, BU, and Gothenburg.
We have a new fully funded postdoc opening in computational cancer genomics. If you would like to develop bioinformatics tools and apply them to population-scale data to decode drug targets and genomic principles in tumor evolution, please join our team! https://t.co/cLjZNmbq2O
Thank you very much for moderating a wonderful session @ahoischen@LValleResearch at #ESHG2023 today. Wonderful discussion, I always enjoy the refreshing insights from the genomics community. Looking forward to new collaborations!
Excited to present at #ESHG2023 in Glasgow tomorrow at 10am local time (Hall 2, Session 23). Please feel free to come to my talk or connect with me if you are around - looking for postdocs and collaborators. Thanks again for inviting me!
Congratulations to @FelixDietlein for being named a 2023 Young Investigator Awardee by the American Society for Clinical Investigation @the_asci. An incredible honor for our newest faculty member @bos_chip (less than one year!).

Proud mentor moment today. Two Health Data Science masters at @HarvardChanSPH graduating from our lab. Congrats to Ian Lo and Yi-Ting Tsai on finishing their master thesis project with us and delivering an impressive final presentation in front of the committee today.
Honored we got the chance to meet the German Minister of Health @Karl_Lauterbach at @DanaFarber today. The dialog between scientists and politicians is critical to “de-siloing” data in clinical research. Discovery tools can only be as good as the real-world data we train them on.
Nice catching up with @MatLupien and colleagues in Toronto yesterday. Thank you so much for inviting me as a speaker at @PMResearch_UHN and a fantastic day of science discussions and collaboration ideas!
Excited to share that we have another fully funded opening for a postdoc in computational cancer genomics @Bos_CHIP@harvardmed. We will start evaluating applications in Dec on a rolling basis. Please email me with questions and check here more details https://t.co/HqV0qote9m
Excited to present at the World Cancer Congress 2022 (#WCC2022) in Geneva today at 4.10pm local time (session: RF19 Cancer control planning classification). Please feel free to come to my talk or connect with me if you are around - looking for postdocs and collaborators.
