@noobde Two things I really hope you can do are:
1. Add more diversity to Shao Kahn's moves, like maybe give him more magic. Right now he's cool, but just seems a bit one-dimensional.
2. Let weapons clang together with sound effects and sparks.

@noobde One thing I've noticed is the lack of good sound effects. As in hit sounds don't really sound anything like flesh, clothing, or armor when being struck, Raiden's thunder doesn't have the crispiness and bass it once had. Sound effects are part of the immersion and are important
@noobde Not sure I'm a fan of a non-human Shao Kahn with horns, because the storyline has always felt more relatable with human characters, but at least Sindel is Asian this time which is more consistent with her lore.
@BruskPoet Whatever reality this is that "Liu Kang" has made, I hope it gets changed back soon, because it's all coming off like elementary fan fiction at this point. I love the franchise and the (original) story, but the studio needs to hire better writers.
@DavidVo56036663@BruskPoet That would be a better explanation, but I'm sorry to say that I lack faith in these NRS writers to do anything dynamic with the story. It's always come off like they think they're writing for small children.
@therealnavz@BruskPoet They've been needing to hire new writers. I've been saying this for years. It's impossible to have a cohesive story when they keep winging it as opposed to taking their time to find skilled writers, planning the story out ahead of time, and connecting all of the dots.

@BruskPoet I'm black and I think that her face could be a bit more polished. Aside from that, I'm happy with her design. Tanya has always appeared black since Day 1, so I don't see why there should be an issue with her race.

@noobde@NetherRealm From everything I've seen over the past few weeks, Mortal Kombat 1 would be much more fun if you 1) made kameos optional, 2) sped up the pacing, 3) toned down fatal blows, 4) added dash blocking, 5) improved hit detection, and 6) polished the graphics.
@noobde@NRSEsports@NetherRealm One of the cool graphical things I noticed in MK-1 is how well Kenshi's leather coat looks and animates; beautiful! Kitana's hair animation, however, could use some work 🤞. With some polishing, her character model could be stunning.
@Todd_Garner There were too many characters in MK Annihilation and not enough screen time to flesh any of them out. The world around them also felt very small and unpopulated. The film felt very rushed and cheap. I remember even thinking this as a kid. Hope you consider all of these things.
@Todd_Garner There were a lot of problems with MK Annihilation, but there were even more problems with MK 2021, imo; I can see why people were saying Annihilation was better. Good thing you guys are aiming to correct some of the mistakes of the previous film. That makes all the difference.
@Todd_Garner As a critic who's only a critic because of the potential I know this franchise has, I can honestly say that I get a different feeling around this film than I had with MK Annihilation and MK 2021. This is actually feeling like a real movie production.
