Well, that isn't Lara Trump. She has no voting record, never held an elected office, and didn't do anything at the RNC but act as window dressing. Bad singing doesn't qualify a person to become a US Senator. The only reason to appoint her is nepotism.

My impression of Trump is that he's a big windbag who talks tough but doesn't do what he says. That's first term Trump. I voted for him to keep Harris out. I didn't expect him to do much his second term. However, I had a 4 am waking thought that, because of everything the democrats have put him through, he might just burn down everything dems have done over the past 4 years, and make some improvements. That's where his cabinet nominations seem to be going. He will need Congress' help to get most things accomplished. That's another obstacle, even though we have both chambers.
