@tweethue@miss_shivs Are you fucking kidding us?! This is a persistent issues. So get your head out of your ass and do your own trouble shooting instead of asking stupid questions like that.
Proud to represent @HzbMxde at the Fragment-based Down Under Conference 2022 and show our facility for cristallographic fragment screening at @HZB_BESSY and our workflow of growing fragment hits using @biosolveit tools.

Great job of hosting by @ARC_CFBD
what to do with your crystallographic fragment hits?
our approach now in Acta Cryst D
big team effort by Klebe group @Uni_MR and @HzbMxde
thanks to all involved, you are great people to work with!

Rational Design of Ru complexes for 1- and 2-Photon Photodynamic Therapy is out in @NatureComms. Very excited to see that some work I started 3.5 years ago and allowed me to work from France to China is published now. @GasserGroup@group_ctm @BlacqueO

NEW VIDEO:
In a time when a lot sucks, this is the most inspiring, altruistic project I’ve ever had the fortune of learning about.
It’s called The COVID Moonshot Project, and I want to show you their incredible work, and explain why they need your help.

At present, researchers at the HZB keep their MX beamlines busy with the second campaign of screening compounds against the main protease
MPro of SARS-CoV-2.
Oh, wow - looks like they're all out by *nine* residues (Pro 918 is where Pro 927 should be; Leu 907 is where Trp 916 should be). Would *not* have been easy to pick this in the original 6nur, but 7btf is both higher resolution and has slightly more "tail".
My good news contribution for today: Researchers in Denmark are starting to test a promising drug in #covid19 patients, barely a month after research appeared showing the drug could stop the virus in cell culture. Quick thread https://t.co/pji5bA53fK
#COVID19 This is probably the best scientific explainer I have seen on why we should all wear masks against #coronavirus
