@FedEx can't be bothered to treat even live animals they are shipping with care. They rejected a "hold for pickup" delivery to their own facility and put my new snake back on a truck and rescheduled delivery for tomorrow. By which point her heat pack will be done.
@wotski@prem_thakker@Unpop_Science Israel is the one dropping the bombs on the hospital and civilians, committing one war crime after another. They have said they are making no effort to save civilian lives. *Even If* Hamas had tunnels under the hospital, it's still a war crime for Israel to bomb the hospital.
@SueSandersHere @evanhill@lrozen That's not what he said. It was enough fuel for 20 minutes of running the generators and the IDF left it 1/2km from the hospital. He was told to go pick it up, in the middle of bombings. That's why he asked them to let the red cross deliver it TO the hospital.
@KristinaCohen18 @JasonOverstreet Something like 80% of Dem voters polled wanted a ceasefire a week ago and I'm sure that number is up. So how does this help them win?
@serviceexperts a technician made an error during a repair that left my AC draining inside under flooring & no one at your company will take responsibility for it. I was told to just "put up a fan if you are worried" and no one responds to my email and calls don't get to anyone
@googlefiber I've never seen work crews as disrespectful and intentionally destructive as the ones you've hired. They've destroyed dozens of native plants around the ones I dug up for them. They've stomped all over, laughed and smirked as I asked them to stop destroying my yard.
@googlefiber I just had to go out again to ask them to stop walking on the plants, and the guy stepped out into the street (seriously, just walking 6 inches into my yard for no reason) and he stepped into the street then literally spit into my yard. called this morning and was disconnected 2x
@googlefiber I had discussions with the crew leader and they disregarded the agreement, throwing a black tarp onto wildlife plantings and dumping dirt onto it, smashing hundreds of dollars of plants and hours of work. ATT, spectrum, have all done work in the yard with minimal damage
@singingsox@learning_to_die I'm 40 and I think the biggest difference is for a many of us 40+, for at least a few years of our adult lives, having a stable decent life seemed like a genuine possibility. Anyone able to establish a career before the 2008 crash, basically, had a chance. No one has since then.
@ashtroid22 Timer caps (plus phone reminders). My old dog needs an eyedrop 2x a day and keeping it in there means I can see if I've given in because it says time last opened. No extra steps to remember besides opening and closing the bottle.
@notnacre @RottenInDenmark We used to rely only on reporting at the time of visits (often monthly or longer) and now a lot of studies include daily or weekly electronic patient surveys so we catch even more AEs, thought the surveys usually focus on expected + & - events
@RottenInDenmark Years of monitoring trials, I have seen some absolutely bizarre AEs (think things like pulled groin from masturbating in the shower😳), and when I participated myself I reported my cellulitis from a wasp sting to the site. So somewhere reported in a
vaccine trial is that.
@RottenInDenmark Total % who experienced AEs is a misleading thing for them to emphasize because of how meaningless it is (vs % and frequency who experienced specific AEs related to the drug like nausea).
