Danielle Smith’s policy targeting trans and gender-diverse youth is an attack on a vulnerable group of youth and on thousands of Albertans. It is a massive overstep into private health care decisions. And it is an attack on the fundamental education rights of kids in our province.

But don’t take it from me: listen to the experts and allies in our video. Listen to the people with real, lived experiences.

Funny how overlook and “look over” have totally opposite implications. Just heard someone for whom English is not their first language say, “we need a couple of days to overlook the requirements”.

Totally understand what they meant, but surprised me how different it sounds. ;)

AWS RDS Blue/Green Deployment looks like a really solid improvement at a quick glance. Support for actions like major version upgrades and instance scaling with more predictability and less downtime sounds great to me.

On a page with a running action that usually takes five minutes? Check again in ten minutes and it’s still running, but refresh and discover that it did finish in the normal timeframe, but the client-side didn’t notice.

GitHub used to be pretty decent about updating itself when things changed without me needing to refresh. Lately, I find far less effective at that. Schedule a workflow run in actions? Get a banner that it’s scheduled, but might not show up in workflow list until refresh.
