I'm not sure when waiting 30+ min on the runway post landing in all NYC airports became acceptable, but this has become both the norm and a total joke. I haven't experienced the same anywhere across the EU #areweathirdworldcountry?
@aripap@pbannist@Simonfesta The only viable solution in my book is forcing AdX to bid into prebid/other oRTB real time pricing. That will allow a more leveled playing field and other solutions to exist
I've been playing around with Dell-E trying to create a logo. Kind of surprised about the results. They are pretty bad on a very straightforward prompt
@airgups23 If I were Jeff green, I would thread lightly. Some of the moves the TTD have been doing lately (e.g OpenPath, GPID prioritization) are steps in the same direction google has gone. While these are minor, this lawsuit proves it's a slippery slope...
@ChaseSupport Here is an example of the type of service we are talking about. The "option" to request reimbursement was sending a physical letter to a general and non named recipient.....this is what you can expect from them when they cause you to be stranded in an airport...
@Chase I would highly recommend that no one gets any type of card from this company. I am currently stranded in a European airport because the team is not able to get my card to not decline.... unwilling to compensate me for this either.
@eric_seufert@PayPal I opened an account in Coinbase and bought Bitcoin for 100$....the transaction is on hold and I was told that they hold funds for 5-60 days for fraud risk reasons. My question is how much do the make on this hold in the interim? I have a feeling this is more of a business opp...
@alextcone Totally agreed. The main problem today is not targeting. I personally think that has been a misleading premise for year. The main issue is attribution and that CAN be solved in a privacy preserving way
@Thomasbcn The premise here is a bit misguided. The main reason that apple is getting more money to search ads is the fact that they are about the only player that can provide attribution data. This data is critical to calculate ROI and this has little to nothing to do with personalization
@alextcone Great ๐งต@alextcone. Given the monopolistic implications of single & central control of these very needed APIs. I think there is no other viable option here than to regulate them by law. Fee market competition won't work in this case
@SimonJHarris@alextcone The reason Ad Server migration is so rare is the fact that if you want access to AdX demand, you MUST use GAM. Topics does not change this dynamic at all. In regards to Creative Ad Server, that is a space that has more competition to begin with
@ratko I would state that a bit different. The biggest challenge in ad-tech since the beginning of time is optimizing the ROI of advertising. Till now the paradigm was identity as a solution. The biggest opportunity lies in whatever will solve this
