The US-backed distribution of aid in Gaza using ex-military staff is a weaponization of food and a grotesque mockery of humanitarianism. This cruel spectacle is meant to distract from Israel’s plans to forcibly displace all Palestinians from Palestine.
Such action is as far away from humanitarian aid as one can go. We call it what it is: A tool of genocide.
The situation in Palestine, especially Gaza, has been described by leading human rights organizations and UN experts as one of ongoing atrocities, including mass killings, forced displacement, starvation, and destruction of civilian infrastructure at a scale not seen in recent history.
As of May 2025, over 44,000 Palestinians have been killed and nearly all of Gaza’s population has been forcibly displaced, with severe famine conditions and widespread devastation of homes, hospitals, and schools.
UN experts and groups like Human Rights Watch have explicitly warned that Israel’s actions—including blocking aid, targeting civilians, and planning further forced displacement—amount to crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, and acts of genocide, and have called for urgent international intervention to prevent further loss of life.
The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli leaders and Hamas officials for war crimes and crimes against humanity related to the conflict.
The humanitarian crisis remains dire, with ongoing violence, lack of access to food and medical care, and continued threats to the survival of the Palestinian population in Gaza.
Nobody did enough. Nobody.
For 20 months, the world watched as Palestinians were slaughtered, shredded and burned alive.
Shame on this world — especially the cowardly Arab regimes. Spare us the excuse that ‘the people cared but leaders didn’t.’
Gaza was left to burn.
At the end of this, everyone will fall into one of two groups: those who supported genocide and those who opposed it. No gray areas, no “it’s complicated” excuses.
