CALL FOR REFERENDUM IN NIGERIA MUST NOT INCLUDE BIAFRA - UNITED STATES OF BIAFRA DECLARED, LAHTI -2024 November 29

We thank you for telling the truth about Nigeria's failed colonial foundation and for recognizing Biafra's economic strength before the war.

However, we must make this correction for the record, so Nigeria does not hijack your words:

*BIAFRA MUST NOT BE INCLUDED IN ANY NIGERIA REFERENDUM.*

1. Biafra people have already conducted a self-referendum where *50 MILLION voted to exit Nigeria.* That mandate is final and sealed. 2. Biafra was declared in 1967 and forcefully occupied by Nigeria. The USB was *re-declared* to restore that SOVEREIGNTY. A referendum is not needed to re-declare an occupied nation.

3. Biafra is no longer part of Nigeria. Therefore, Biafra cannot and will not participate in any referendum organized to determine Nigeria's future.

If Nigeria wants a referendum, let it be for the remaining Nigerian peoples — Yoruba, Middle Belt, and others — to decide their own constitutional future.

GEORGIA SENATE DISTRICT 44 - RESOLUTION URGING CONGRESS TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND RECOGNIZE UNITED STATES OF BIAFRA AND PROTECT CHRISTIANS IN PLATEAU STATE

WHEREAS, Dr. Walid Phares, former foreign policy advisor to President Donald Trump and expert who has briefed Congress and the UN Security Council, has publicly acknowledged that Biafra exists as a persecuted people and proposed that Biafra be empowered to counter jihadist infiltration; and

WHEREAS, Plateau State and the South-East of Nigeria have suffered escalating attacks by Boko Haram and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) targeting Christians, including women and children; and

WHEREAS, the United States of Biafra (USB) Christian Nation represents millions of Biafrans in diaspora, including residents of Clayton County, Georgia, who seek self-determination and security; and has Redeclared Biafra on November 29, 2024 in Lahti and

WHEREAS,acknowledgement is the first step toward recognition — listing Biafra alongside South Sudan, Somaliland, Darfur, and Kurdistan as peoples willing to defend freedom is a historic shift;

WHEREAS, the Nigeria police still and currently deploys its terrorist military and police into the quiet neighborhoods of USB territory to search, kill and burn male children in biafra territory (exhibit attached)

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Candidate for Georgia State Senate District 44:

Section 1. We welcome Dr. Walid Phares' acknowledgement that Biafra exists and his call for a counter-jihadist coalition in northern Nigeria and Plateau State.

Section 2. We urge the United States Congress and the Trump Administration to:

(a) Hold hearings on the persecution of Christians in Plateau State and Biafra land;

(b) Acknowledge Biafra as a distinct people facing existential threat;

(c) Consider strategic partnership with Biafra to host security cooperation that protects Christians and stabilizes the Gulf of Guinea.

Section 3. We affirm that recognition of United States of Biafra USB should be considered after acknowledgement, consistent with US support for other persecuted peoples who became allies and also in Support of recent speech by President Trump that “we should remain Sovereign”

Section 4. The Clerk shall transmit copies to Dr. Walid Phares, Georgia Congressional Delegation, and the White House.
