The Ogaden Somali community in Lamu County have appealed to CS Aden Duale, President William Ruto, and Nooradin Haji over the injustices they face in Lamu.

The Somali villagers report they are being forced by the State to relocate from their lands in Mokowe to make way for politicians to exploit their land. The President of Kenya and Northeastern leaders must address the land grab happening in Lamu County.

For many years, we have watched the displacement of our locals from this county and the distribution of land to outsiders. This practice of using government title to steal land began with Jomo Kenyatta and must be put to stop by Ruto.

When the Italians arrived in East Africa in 1890, Ethiopia as a country did not exist; instead, there was an Amharic empire called "Abyssinia," which was one of many empires and kingdoms throughout Africa, similar to the many smaller kingdoms in Midre Bahri (modern day Eritrea) Songhai Empire in present-day Mali and Nigeria, the Bantu and Sokoto Empire in today's Cameroon, and the Zulu empire in today's South Africa, the Sultanate of Adal in today's Somalia. Etc. There was not a single country recognised by the UN or international community, it was all kingdoms and lawless land grabbing by empires. Hence the notion of #Ethiopia's claimed 3,000-year history is complete myth and it falsely claims older civilisations in the region as Ethiopian. The truth remains Ethiopia didn't exist. While Menelik briefly controlled some villages north of the Mereb river, his rule was never complete, and the eastern lowlands of coastal Eritrea were under Ottoman control in 1890. The Italians acquired 90% of modern Eritrea's territory from various local kingdoms, sultans, and Egyptian-controlled areas (following Ottoman withdrawal from coastal Eritrea). Significantly, the Abyssinian kingdom never ruled or reached coastal Eritrea, and the claim that Eritrea was part of Ethiopia was a fabrication by Haile Selassie, who was actually the first ruler from south of the river Mereb to govern #Eritrea forcefully against the will of its people. Just like the myth of king Menilik was the son of biblical king Solomon of Israel, the whole story is full of fallacies and theatrical stories that didn't took place in reality. Repeated lies can never be true.

It is unfortunate that destructive external forces chief among them being the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have made it their sole objective to completely keep Somalia wallowing in political instability & unending state of anarchy.

Through their use of salaried collaborators like speaker Adan Madoobe and the like, they know very well that tempering with the provisional constitution will create more confusion and division in Somalia making it very hard to ever regain its footing. They have largely succeeded in this.
