On my personal behalf and on behalf of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, I sincerely thank President Trump for graciously accepting our request to extend the ceasefire to allow ongoing diplomatic efforts to take their course.

With the trust and confidence reposed in, Pakistan shall continue its earnest efforts for negotiated settlement of conflict.

I sincerely hope that both sides will continue to observe the ceasefire and be able to conclude a comprehensive ‘Peace Deal’ during the second round of talks scheduled at Islamabad for a permanent end to the conflict.

I am pleased to share a great news that the Government of Iran has agreed to allow 20 more ships under the Pakistani flag to pass through the Strait of Hormuz; two ships will cross the Strait daily.

This is a welcome and constructive gesture by Iran and deserves appreciation. It is a harbinger of peace and will help usher stability in the region.

This positive announcement marks a meaningful step toward peace and will strengthen our collective efforts in that direction.

Dialogue, diplomacy, and such confidence-building measures are the only way forward.

There are cases where Integrity decisions may impact the capacity especially if certain threats are managed by operating pressure limitation.

@WTIBull You can either apply for a temporary travel document or a temporary passport along with a new passport. Getting in touch with the Embassy is a bit of a frustrating process.

@WTIBull My passport got stolen in the States. I filed the police report and got in touch with the Canadian Consulate. They gave me an appointment to meet a staff member to prove my identity which I was able to do it with my drivers license, and photo of the old passport.
