A LIT FUSE
Cyrus Carmack-Belton was only 14 years old when killed, the same age as Emmett Till was when murdered. When Black children are killed without punishment or accountability, it is like lighting a fuse—soaked in the gas of intergenerational racial trauma.
The dismantling of Harvard’s diversity offices arrived at Harvard College on Wednesday as websites for centers serving minority students, LGBTQ students, and women disappeared suddenly and without fanfare.

For people to say DEI efforts have gone too far is hilarious when Black people WITH college degrees are still nearly 2x as likely to be unemployed as whites with degrees, even when those degrees are in the same disciplines. But please, tell me more about how we're "victimized"
@elonmusk Is there anything you consider inaccurate in that description? It's true you did the gesture (twice) and that people did compare it to a Nazi salute (many people) and it's true that you denied it had any meaning.
That isn't MSM propaganda. That's fact. Every element of it.
I think Elon is unhappy that Wikipedia is not for sale. I hope his campaign to defund us results in lots of donations from people who care about the truth. If Elon wanted to help, he'd be encouraging kind and thoughtful intellectual people he agrees with to engage.

.@melindagates has endorsed VP Kamala Harris, telling CBS Mornings that she has already made contributions to her campaign and will continue to do so: “I think she is a woman of our time.”
Hawai'i's colonization is such a timely case study of how folks can't fathom life without settler colonialism. Yall can't even bring yourself to IMAGINE what it COULD be like. You get hives at the mere mention of Hawaiians owning Hawai'i again. To you: islands = incapable. To us:
We don't get free from white supremacy by taking turns. The notion that anyone needs to wait their turn is literally playing by white supremacy's rules.
I literally teach apocalypse survival and sure it's through the lens of zombies but only cuz its a universal framework thanks to pop culture, Native and Black histories are not. But we've already got the blueprints of survival, know the growing/healing pains of what comes next.
On this day in 1862, Journalist, suffragist, activist, and educator Ida B. Wells was born.
Wells was one of the nation’s foremost critics of racial injustice through her journalistic and philanthropic endeavors. She co-founded the Alpha Suffrage Club in Chicago in 1913 to educate Black women on how to cultivate Black candidates and ensure their votes.
