Statement from the Office of the PCCF (HoFF) Sri P. V. Chalapathi Rao.

🔸A total of 32.63 acres of forest land in Mangalampeta have been encroached.
🔸In the Mangalampeta forest land encroachment case, Sri @MithunReddyYSRC has been named as A1.
🔸The encroached forest land has been reclaimed and taken back into Forest Department custody.
🔸A special committee has been constituted to investigate forest land encroachments.
🔸Wherever forest lands are encroached, they will be taken back without exception.

It is indeed true that encroachments occurred in the Mangalampeta forest area of Pulicherla Mandal, Chittoor district. Accordingly, cases have been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and relevant sections of the Andhra Pradesh Forest Act, 1967, namely Sections 61(2), 20(1)(d)(2), and 52(d).

The individuals named in the case are

A1 – Sri Peddireddy Mithun Reddy
A2 – Sri Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy
A3 – Sri Peddireddy Dwarakanath Reddy
A4 – Smt. Peddireddy Indiramma

A Preliminary Offence Report (POR) has been filed, and charge sheets have been submitted. The department has reclaimed 32.63 acres of encroached land and has filed all case details before the court.

According to the 1968 Gazette, pattas exist for 75.74 acres in the Mangalampeta forest region. However, the encroachers unlawfully merged an additional 32.63 acres of Reserve Forest land with their private patta land and fenced the entire area.

Within this Reserve Forest zone:

🔸Horticulture crops were illegally cultivated, generating income in violation of the AP Forest Act, 1967.
🔸An unauthorised borewell was drilled on forest land, and forest resources were misused.
🔸These actions caused damage to forest wealth worth approximately ₹1.26 crore.

Under POR No. 3/2025, cases have been registered under the AP Forest Act, 1967 and relevant BNS sections. Notices have been issued, and the accused failed to provide any legitimate land documents for the 32.63 acres, confirming the encroachment.

The Forest Department will not spare anyone involved in encroaching forest land, and action will also be taken against officials who supported or facilitated such activities. A state-level committee has been constituted to investigate forest land encroachments, and the department is actively reclaiming all such lands.

Hon’ble Deputy CM and Forest & Environment Minister, @PawanKalyan, has instructed that complete forest land records be uploaded on the department’s official website. Upon completion of the ongoing survey, all land details will be made publicly available online.

చిత్తూరు జిల్లా పులిచెర్ల మండలం మంగళంపేట అటవీ భూములలో ఆక్రమణలు చోటు చేసుకున్న మాట వాస్తవం. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి భారత న్యాయసంహితను అనుసరించి ఏపీ అటవీ చట్టంలోని 61 (2),20 (1)(డి)(2), 52(డి) ప్రకారం కేసులు నమోదు చేశాము. ఈ కేసులో ఏ1గా శ్రీ పెద్దిరెడ్డి మిథున్ రెడ్డి ఉన్నారు. ఏ2గా శ్రీ పెద్దిరెడ్డి రామచంద్రా రెడ్డి, ఏ3గా శ్రీ పెద్దిరెడ్డి ద్వారకానాథ్ రెడ్డి, ఏ4గా శ్రీమతి పెద్దిరెడ్డి ఇందిరమ్మ పేర్లు నమోదు చేశాము. అటవీ చట్టం ప్రకారం ప్రిలిమినరీ అఫెన్స్‌ రిపోర్ట్‌ (పీవోఆర్‌) ప్రకారం చార్జిషీటు దాఖలు చేశాం. ఆక్రమణకు గురైన 32.63 ఎకరాల భూమిని స్వాధీనం చేస్తుకున్నాం. కోర్టులో కేసుల వివరాలు దాఖలు చేశాం.

1968 గెజిట్ ప్రకారం మంగళంపేట అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో 75.74 ఎకరాలకు పట్టాలు ఉన్నాయి. అయితే 32.63 ఎకరాల అటవీ భూమిని కూడా కలిపేసుకున్నారు. దానికి కంచె వేశారు. ఆ అటవీ భూముల్లో ఉద్యాన పంటలు వేసి సాగు చేసి, ఆదాయం పొందారు. చట్ట విరుద్ధంగా బోర్ వెల్ తవ్వారు. అటవీ వనరులు దుర్వినియోగం చేశారు. దాదాపు రూ.1.26 కోట్ల విలువైన అటవీ సంపదకు నష్టం వాటిల్లింది. పి.ఓ.ఆర్.నెం.3/2025 ప్రకారం వీరిపై ఏపీ ఫారెస్ట్ యాక్ట్ 1967, బి.ఎన్.ఎస్. సెక్షన్ల మేరకు కేసులు నమోదు చేసి నోటీసులు ఇవ్వడమైనది. 32.63 ఎకరాలకు చట్టబద్ధమైన పత్రాలను కూడా వారు సమర్పించలేకపోయారు.
అటవీ భూములు ఆక్రమించిన ఎవరినీ వదిలిపెట్టే ప్రసక్తి లేదు. వారికి సహకరించిన అధికారులపై చర్యలు తీసుకుంటాం. అటవీ భూముల అన్యాక్రాంతంపై విచారణకు రాష్ట్రస్థాయిలో కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేశాము. అన్యాక్రాంతమైన భూంలను తిరిగి స్వాధీనం చేసుకొంటున్నాము. అటవీ భూముల వివరాలను వెబ్ సైట్లో పెట్టాలని గౌరవ ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి, అటవీ పర్యావరణ శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ @PawanKalyan గారు ఆదేశించారు. ఈ సర్వే మొత్తం పూర్తి చేసి స్థలాల వివరాలను వెబ్ సైట్లో పెడతాం.
