In line with our commitment to providing comprehensive care for all segments of the society, The #PCMC is setting up a state-of-the-art welfare center for Divyangs (differently-abled) individuals in Morewadi.
The Divyang Bhavan will serve as a center for the holistic development of differently-abled citizens, offering latest facilities for diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, acupressure therapy, speech therapy, and the provision of prosthetic limbs and assistive devices. The center will also house services like counseling, educational guidance, skill training, employment support, and assistance with various government schemes.
In a significant collaboration, Sandvik Coromant India Pvt, through #CSR, will contribute equipment and devices for the diagnosis and therapy of the disabled, as outlined in a recent joint agreement between the Corporation, Sandvik Coromant India Private Limited, and Mahatma Gandhi Seva Sangh.

In a welcome step to make our monuments more accessible to specially-abled & deaf visitors, @ASIGoI has introduced sign language amenities at the @UNESCO world heritage site Kakatiya Rudreshwar Temple at Mulugu & Golconda in Telangana.

Visitors now can scan the QR code at the entrance, which will give the full history of the monument along with a brief introduction to the various structures that will be displayed through a video containing interpreters of sign language.
