As it turns out the little motor is way more capable than I thought, doubled the thrust with a 2 blade 10 inch propeller instead of a 3 blade 6 inch propeller.

On a hike in San Francisco several years ago, Matt Mullenweg (@photomatt) recommended I read “The Tail End” by Tim Urban (@waitbutwhy) on the Wait But Why blog—if you only read one article this month, make it that one. It uses diagrams to underscore how short life really is.

Here’s just one gem: “It turns out that when I graduated from high school, I had already used up 93% of my in-person parent time. I’m now enjoying the last 5% of that time. We’re in the tail end.”

One of the most valuable life lessons I learnt from improv is the “YES, AND” attitude.

During improv, scenes are built incrementally (since there is no script) in which you always build on top of the idea your scene partners gift you. Negation of an idea isn’t allowed.

Applying this technique to any team I am a part of irrespective of whether we are building a robot or deciding what to do on a weekend has made me a far more effective team player than I ever was!
