‼️"The American struck me on the head with his rifle." That is how a Palestinian woman described what she endured while trying to receive aid at the American-run Gaza Humanitarian Foundation on a so-called "Women-Only Distribution" day.

She says a U.S. soldier assaulted her, then threw her into the arms of her friend and ordered her out. She left with nothing but pain and rage. “Did they bring us here to humiliate us,” she asked. Around her, other women were shot at, beaten with sticks, and sent home with nothing but empty cartons. No food. No medicine. Only cameras filming their desperation to serve propaganda.

These US-Israeli death traps have killed over 1,000 starving Palestinians and injured nearly 7,000 since they began in late May 2025.

Sorry, I made a mistake. The correct figure is 38 million deaths associated with unilateral sanctions imposed by the US and EU during the period 1970-2021.

I had assumed that the annual average reported in the paper (564k deaths) applied to the whole period 1970-2021. Summing this would give 28 million. But the reported figure applies only to the period 2012-2021.

The correct total can be obtained from the annual results for the whole period from 1970, as per the figures in the supplementary information file. This gives a sum total of 38 million deaths.
