Some women don't flirt with people. They flirt with life. Extra twenty minutes at the café. Fresh flowers for no reason. Music while getting dressed. Taking the scenic way because the sky looks good. There's romance happening between her and being alive.
i like ppl who can talk about sex, lust, nd their freaky side, then switch to human psychology, existentialism, and the absurdity of life in the same conversation
So yesterday I discovered SHA only covers removal of cancerous growths when they’re past 3.5cm.
Anyone in medicine knows that by that time, the malignancy is probably already metastatic.
You look at policies and you can tell they’re weren’t made with people in mind but profits
People who never voted for Raila Odinga even once in their adult life are the same ones quick to point out how he “betrayed” us. While they sanitize people who actually were in charge of our taxes and drove our economy into shit like Uhuru.
Factually, and constitutionally, Raila Odinga has never been an official leader of the opposition.
He has been the opposition leader in spirit, and not in letter.
Here is why,
In 1992 - 1997, the opposition leader was Kenneth Matiba.
In 1997 - 2002, the opposition leader was Mwai Kibaki.
In 2002 - 2007, the opposition leader was Uhuru Kenyatta.
In 2007 - 2013, the opposition leader was Jimmy Wanjigi. This was a bit complicated due to 2007 PEV and the coalition that followed.
In 2013 - 2027 there is no office of opposition leader occasioned by the new constitution.
In letter, the official leader of opposition was the party leader of the party with the highest number of parliamentary seats against the government.
Baba was therefore a spiritual leader, more than a constitutional or political leader.
We Kenyans have entitlement issues. The Odingas owe us nothing. Raila Odinga vied for the presidency until his death and we Kenyans never gave him a chance.
We like blaming others to avoid taking responsibility. We chose Ruto and it is our responsibility that he is in power, not the Odingas’. You can be sure the Odingas never voted for Ruto.
We betrayed ourselves. If the Odingas choose to eat with the Devil, that is their choice. They do not owe us an explanation.
We can’t refuse to vote for someone and then expect that person or their family to always fight for us. At some point, we must take responsibility for the choices we made.
Words can’t begin to explain how pathetic it is to murder a woman cause she rejected you
What makes these losers think they have the authority to take a life once things don’t go their way
Like I said yesterday, these are the results of red pill and toxic masculinity teachings
THIKA SUPERHIGHWAY was Raila Odinga's pet project.
In 2003, as Roads Minister, he and Engineer Joshua Toro, then MP for Kandara and Assistant Minister for Roads, crafted a master plan.
The THIKA Highway was the pilot project, followed by Rironi - Mau Summit - Londiani - Fort Tenan - Muhoroni, and Ngata - Salgaa - Mau-Summit - Londiani - Kericho - Kisumu - Busia.
But the constant conflicts between LDP and NAK stalled these Mega Projects.
The Orange-Banana conflict jeopardised every dream built in 2002 because people around Kibaki, like Karua, didn't like LDP near the government's policy-making meetings.
Then came 2008, and the Coalition Government was born after a horrible 2007 election.
Kipkalya Kones, as Roads Minister, restarted the stalled mega road projects. Then he died in June 2008 in a plane crash.
Then Franklin Bett was appointed Roads Minister. He restarted and supervised the Thika Highway groundbreaking ceremony, alongside Jimmy Wanjigi, who designed its financing instruments.
Baba carried all the insults when the project started,
"Economic saboteur"
"He is destroying our businesses"
"He wants EABL to collapse so that his molasses plant can start producing beer"
"This ODM part of the Government is heartless."
Kibaki was almost folding, but Jimmy Wanjigi told him off.
Baba and Bett remained firm, and the Highway was commissioned in November 2012 at Museum Hill. Kibaki was present alongside Johnny-come-lately Kalonzo Musyoka.
Baba carried the insults, the media rewrote the truth, and we carried the glory.
I know our history well because I have refused to let politicians and the media rewrite our historical journey.
The media hides the truth, broadcasts lies, to keep the masses misinformed and enraged.
