It's buy-one-get-one, and who out there doesn't love a deal??
We are pleased to share with you our latest revised manuscript showing that the endocytic protein dynamin regulates SPD-2 and PLK-1 levels during mitosis. Special thanks to the reviewers and editor for their thoughtful feedback! https://t.co/2qUKwx9cHP
Centrosome fans: Submit your @ASCBiology abstract to the ‘Emerging concepts in centriole and centrosome assembly and function’ minisym, ft. PRIZES for trainee talks & posters thanks to generous sponsors @J_Cell_Sci@DSHB_antibodies@NikonUSA Cytoskeleton
In the new book Labwork to Leadership, chemist Jen Heemstra offers actionable leadership advice to principal investigators.

First copies of my book are here!! As a new faculty member, I realized that in addition to my research job, I also had a leadership job…and I wasn’t prepared for that.
This book is the guide I wish I’d had then, with the goal of helping others now.

I’m pleased to share the latest preprint from the Iyer Lab! 🎉
We uncover a novel role for dynamin in regulating spindle pole assembly and PLK-1 localization during late mitosis in C. elegans embryos.

We made a huge poster that illustrates all of the major genome editing tools in one place.

It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS, indeterminate dendritic cell histiocytosis or other (non-LCH) histiocytic sarcomas cases.
I'm trying to understand non-surgical chemo and targeted therapy options, new pathology markers to better diagnose subtypes/treatments, and any data on progression in pediatric patients. Please feel free to share – I’m trying to cast a wide net due to the rarity of this condition and how little is known.
People can contact me directly at my first name (as written in my profile) at https://t.co/ubo0zQRMn0.
For all executive orders, trans focused and not, a good rule of thumb is to think hard on whether Article II gives the president the power to act. In the US, we have a gov't of limited powers, folks.
What non-Chinese company can you recommend to create CRISPR'd C. elegans strains? Public institutions of higher ed in Texas aren't allowed to contract goods or services from Chinese companies since 11/2024. (I just got funds in to pay for my SunyBioTech quote from 10/2024.) :(
