I'm always amazed that intellectuals view everything through rose coloured glasses.

Most Charities distribute single figure percentages on the dollar, are highly inefficient, top heavy with teams of directors on eye watering salaries are terrible at logistics and have disregard for procurement efficiency.

Maybe there is a small opportunity to recognise the embedded value of British manufacturers beyond the one box of the last 40 years- Globalisation, “ its just cheaper to make in other countries”.

I think that mask has fallen.

The UK is much more than RR, Airbus and JCB.

Smaller heritage bespoke manufacturing will be the added value sector of this century, if the right people are recruited to appraise the sum of all the parts.
