CALL FOR REFERENDUM IN NIGERIA MUST NOT INCLUDE BIAFRA - UNITED STATES OF BIAFRA DECLARED, LAHTI -2024 November 29

We thank you for telling the truth about Nigeria's failed colonial foundation and for recognizing Biafra's economic strength before the war.

However, we must make this correction for the record, so Nigeria does not hijack your words:

*BIAFRA MUST NOT BE INCLUDED IN ANY NIGERIA REFERENDUM.*

1. Biafra people have already conducted a self-referendum where *50 MILLION voted to exit Nigeria.* That mandate is final and sealed. No other referendum will be conducted by any country, person or organization to decide whether Biafra exits Nigeria (see Referendum videos in USB Homeland and Re - declaration videos).

2. Biafra was declared in 1967 and forcefully occupied by Nigeria. The USB was *re-declared* to restore that SOVEREIGNTY. A referendum is not needed to re-declare an occupied nation.

3. Biafra is no longer part of Nigeria. Therefore, Biafra cannot and will not participate in any referendum organized to determine Nigeria's future.

If Nigeria wants a referendum, let it be for the remaining Nigerian peoples — Yoruba, Middle Belt, and others — to decide their own constitutional future.

*Biafra territory is excluded.*

Any attempt to include Biafra in a Nigeria referendum is an attempt to cancel the 50 million votes and drag Biafra back into Nigeria. The Biafra people reject it completely.

We urge that any proposal

*does not include the territory of the United States of Biafra.*

SUBJECT: Official Transmission of the Sovereign Reciprocal Recognition of the Republic of Finland and the United States of Biafra (Restored)

Today, the Office of the Head of State and Deputy Prime Minister of the United States of Biafra (Restored) officially transmitted the attached “Sovereign Reciprocal Recognition of the Republic of Finland and Its Population through Functional Statehood Juridical Continuum” to the Parliament of Finland and the relevant Finnish judicial, constitutional, governmental, and oversight authorities.

On behalf of the United States of Biafra, I express our appreciation to the Republic of Finland for the acts of recognition documented in this instrument and formally affirm the reciprocity set out therein.

We particularly thank the Finnish state for upholding international law by providing the enabling environment in which the United States of Biafra formally declared the restoration of its independence and sovereignty on 29 November 2024 in Lahti, Finland.

That historic declaration proceeded through Finland’s lawful administrative framework, notwithstanding the conduct of a very small number of misguided and corrupt Finnish officials whose actions neither represent the Finnish people nor erase the enduring legal and historical significance of what took place in Lahti.

The United States of Biafra remains grateful to the people and institutions of Finland that respected the rule of law, fundamental freedoms, human dignity, and the inalienable right of peoples to self-determination.
