@CrossCountryUK Hi, 1O68 today and 1O20 on Wednesday had carriages with broken a/c, it was 45°C in the carriage today and similar on Wednesday. Can I suggest your guards to make announcements about which carriages have a/c rather than having passengers have to work it out?
@GWRHelp Hi, since the 18:20 Reading to Crowthorne was cancelled I don't suppose there's any chance the 18:54 Reading to Gatwick Airport will make an extra stop there?
@GWRHelp Hi, currently at Clapham Junction trying to get back to Crowthorne but the next connecting train from Guildford to crowthorne [19:45] is cancelled, as is the 21:44 Wokingham - Crowthorne; any advice on what route to take or if all trains to Crowthorne are cancelled?
@GWRHelp Hi, I'm currently next to Crowthorne station, there is one scheduled for 12:12, unless that is likely to be affected by delay as well? I had wondered if any would make extra stops due to the cancellation?
@GWRHelp Hi, the 11:12 went through Crowthorne without stopping, there is no signal at the station and both PIS aren't working, I'm now in an internet cafe so I can send this message, any idea when the next train to reading will be as there is no information at the station?
@ShamieRamsamuj@Tendar UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher said it was a 'targeted attack'. So they're not staying quiet, there's only so much they can do though
@Tendar Tbf the UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher did say it was a 'targeted attack'; they should publicise it more but they aren't letting Russia get away with saying it was an accident
@DJSnM@Docquistador Humanity will go extinct one day, no matter what we do, going interplanetary is unlikely to change when that happens. So Scott's point is either irrelevant or incorrect! That's not to say we shouldn't explore the solar system and push technology though.
@DeepSpace_DSW@DJSnM Firstly clickbait is misleading titles/thumbnails, which this isn't, it is clear what topic the video is on and it doesn't make any claims. Secondly do you expect Scott to summarize a 17min video in the thumbnail?
@DJSnM@GB_Drone And if you compare it to an osprey most of the maintenance and reliability problems come from the gearboxes and engines rotating so reservoirs etc are far more annoying to implement, have to pressurise pretty much everything I think!?
@stevecrye@DJSnM Idk if the white bar is a progress indicator but, you'd still expect all the screens to be synced surely, and at least the bar looks similar across all 3 screens, doesn't look like current data Vs future simulation, so wouldn't explain it, I'd guess different frames of reference
@DrKnowItAll16@DJSnM@CommiNathan@NASA@SpaceX Except that Orion on SLS has way more performance than Dragon on falcon 9; so your analogy is just completely wrong even before you get to you evidently having never seen a 1970s Cessna if you think it looks like that!?
@Oberon48@RAIL The main problem is half of XC services don't run or are delayed (actually 46.7% from Reading), so the remaining half are massively overcrowded, especially when 1 set is locked out of use due to lack of guards. The franchise just needs to be revoked.
@DXBITGuy@DJSnM I don't think there was a communication breakdown judging by the ATC audio released online, just a mistake by the controller [of course the investigation will need to look into if safety systems picked it up, or could have, staffing levels, fatigue, atc policy etc]
@GWRHelp Hi I'm meant to be getting the 17:15 from CRN to RDG, it shows as ontime on departure board but I see it has been stopped near Chilworth for half an hour, any information on if it's still running?
@MilwardPerry@Richard_AHolmes I don't think it nullifies the insurance policy so much as for the insurance to cover any incident the owner will need to confirm the vessel involved is the one insured with it's true name, which they're currently denying
