@somefingoruvver@pornbubdealer@Timstillherelol As a native born citizen of the country of Canada upon the North American continent, “America” is the country, North America is the continent. North and South America together are “the Americas” and that’s that.
@PadraigOraghail@reallyoptimized I’m sure the Japanese and the Albertans along with Texans and the guys on the Snake River would argue with you about the beef. Don’t confuse what you call “Americanism” with actual American food culture.
@GuberGerh@garcon_com70968 In English there are seven continents. North America and South America are referred to as “the Americas” in the same way we refer to “Eurasia”. Enough already.
@somefingoruvver@Timstillherelol It isn’t. There are seven continents. Not six, not five. Seven. Asia, Africa, N. America, S. America, Antarctica, Europe, Australia/Oceana. North America & South America make up “the Americas” just as Asia & Europe make up Eurasia.
@Faltmarskalken@honigmaydl As a Canadian, WTF are you doing on someone else’s property? You should be cited for trespassing. It’s not yours, you don’t belong.
@infantrydort The last member of my family that was shot at from a building reacted to that by slamming several 75mm HE rounds into it. The shooting in his tanks direction stopped. It worked 82 years ago, it should be the same today.
@LinkofSunshine “Seasoned food” does not always equal mystery meat coated in enough spice that you can’t identify the protein used or overcooked glop that has had a cabinet of spices dumped in it.
@andrewscheelar@The_Stubbs44 You must have both the “hot weather” insulation and the “cold weather” insulation installed in your home. See, the Brits just get the “cold weather” insulation.
@TheGunBlog Nice try Miramichi! My firearms are strictly for shooting sports at an approved range or for hunting or varminting following the CCC and Alberta F&W regulations. I have noticed that the wolves in my area are about 180# and starting to get aggressive. I’ve adjusted accordingly.
@MarkReid42 Heretic! The Church of Browning has been here for a very long time.
From the Gospel: 1) In the beginning was the 1911, and the 1911 was THE pistol, and it was good.
From the Book of Frick, abridged 1) Bring a gun. Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring your friends with guns
@Cdnbuddyguy@Slatzism@Parthenogenics@pdb5906tsw Churchill MB, my cousin spent a year there. There is no actual ordinance about it, but it’s good manners & neighborly to leave your vehicle unlocked at all times.
@Slatzism@Cdnbuddyguy@Parthenogenics@pdb5906tsw Friend was a geologist up North, a Euro company bought them out & the first directive was “No Weapons” & they lost their 12 gauges. She was stalked by one and barely made it to the truck ahead of it (licking the glass before she was able to start it). She drove to camp & quit.
@Slatzism Funny, but as someone who lives in bear country make certain you all understand that IF a black bear attacks you it’s because it’s decided that you’re food. It’s a predatory attack, fight back with everything you have, it’s not just going to whack/bite you & leave like a grizzly.
