These are 3 different diagnoses related to the gallbladder. Very simple to understand so you don't mix them up in the future.

1. GB stone : Just stone.

2. Acute calcular cholecystitis: Stone + acute inflammation.

3. Chronic caclular cholecystitis: Stone + chronic inflammation.

→ Mycetoma (aspergilloma) seen not in a classic cavity
→ Instead, developed within an emphysematous bulla (LU L)

We usually think:
✔ post-TB cavity = aspergilloma

But also:
✔ bullae
✔ cystic bronchiectasis
✔ honeycombing (rare)

👉 Any persistent airspace can become a fungal niche.
