The disability community across Florida has seen a continued erosion of support services since Jeb Bush left the Governorship. We sadly rank near the bottom nationally and I have pledged to reverse this shameful trend.
Now, the President is taking aim by asserting that the ADA does not guarantee people with disabilities the right to live and receive services in integrated community settings. He's wrong and he's undoing decades of settled law. As Governor, I'll make sure Florida continues home and community-based care for individuals with disabilities and for those who rely on long-term care. It's simply the right thing to do.

My divisive, inept and immoral opponent, James Uthmeier, asked himself for a legal opinion about ignoring 83 laws and programs related to rooting out racial discrimination.
He's wrong on the law.
I'm running to restore the office to the people and to send him packing.
Every day, I hear from neighbors who are being priced out of our community because housing costs are out of control. Anna Paulina Luna has had the chance to make life in FL-13 more affordable, and yet here she is again chasing political stunts instead.
A lot of people ask about my journey of change in politics. On many things, I'm right where I've always been. But on others, you bet I've changed.
I grew as I served. I saw old ideologies fail to solve problems or defend basic rights. So yes, I changed, and I'm proud of it. Truth is I'd be embarrassed if I hadn't.
I don't think the problem in politics is people who change. I think the problem too often is those who won't.
Take a listen.
Florida’s workers keep our state moving.
I’m proud to have the support of the Florida AFL-CIO and the working families they represent across our state. Gwen and I are building a campaign focused on affordability, stronger wages, safer workplaces, and an economy that works for everyone.
It’s time Florida had leadership that respects labor and stands with the people who make this state run.
To my Republican friends, I'm not asking you to reconsider your principles, I'm asking you to remember them.
Regardless of party, consider being a part of this moment in history. Join us at https://t.co/ZMD4oQV3N7.
Juneteenth commemorates the day the message of freedom reached the last enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas.
Weeks earlier, on May 20, 1865, the Emancipation Proclamation was read in Tallahassee, Florida on the steps of the now historic Knott House.
Knowing our history, teaching our history, strengthens and equips us. We will never recognize the darker chapters of our present if we don't first learn from the darker chapters of our past.
Join us as we continue to move Florida forward.
I'm blessed to spend life with Laura and the kids. Together, we're fighting for what everyone in our state knows is possible - a better, brighter state where politics is something that brings us together, not divides us.
Join us on this campaign - and thank you for your friendship.

Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Jolly jokes about his "first-time fan experience" with Charlie Crist as he and running mate Gwen Graham file their qualifying paperwork for the 2026 election.
To me, leadership comes down to two things: competency and character.
Floridians deserve leaders they can trust. Leaders who will work hard, think clearly, and focus on what actually improves people’s lives.
Lowering costs. Protecting our environment. Strengthening education. Helping families who are struggling.
I’m proud to stand with @davidjollyfl because I believe we share that commitment.
Together, we can bring responsible, balanced leadership back to Tallahassee and build a governing partnership that truly benefits the people of Florida.
Competency. Character. Trust.
That’s the kind of leadership @GwenGraham believes Florida deserves and why I'm proud to have her as my running mate.
Together, we're ready to lower costs, protect Florida’s future, and serve every Floridian.
Florida deserves leadership ready to meet this moment.
That’s why I am excited to announce that Congresswoman @GwenGraham has agreed to serve alongside me as Florida’s next Lieutenant Governor.
Gwen has spent her life in public service — helping people, fighting for Florida, and carrying forward a legacy of responsible, steady leadership. She and I served together in Congress, working across party lines on the issues that matter most to our state.
Now, we’re ready to bring balanced leadership back to Tallahassee.
