@albanvillamil@hillarydesres You might inspiration in Rebecca Solnit's "Hope in the Dark" (if you aren't already familiar), on the subject of sustaining activism/big change-making through despair.
@jessperate@jhsilverman@sarahmsmart Hi, all. 👋 To follow up on this from a few weeks back … we're now officially hiring to grow the team: https://t.co/PB9H3g5rBu
I'm hiring! @MURAL is at an exciting moment with its mission to level up teamwork. Come join MURAL’s Content Design team and help to bring clarity and humanity to the words we use.
Position is fully remote. Questions? Just ask!

@scottkubie Question, and maybe this is a buy-you-a-virtual coffee and discuss sometime: What's your sense of **why** content design has become so hot right now?
@jmspool And here's the link for the content design position. IBM is hiring 2 UX designers in Austin. Both roles are in one of our AI apps divisions. Come join the teams that are helping people put AI to work.

@petervandijck@jarango I once heard compassion defined, in part, as recognizing that we are passing characters in other peoples' lives. It doesn't have to = letting people off the hook, or forgiving them. What's important is not to "other" and make 1-dimensional many of the people who voted for Trump.
Look everybody. This debate is as bad as you think.
The president’s performance is designed to promote cynicism and despair. Don’t succumb to it.
If you’re watching, translate whatever emotion you’re feeling to action and organize like your life depends on it.
@yeseniaa@cassler@nytimes@washingtonpost ProPublica (https://t.co/kl9ImZt7aU) is one I'd recommend. Though as ever with such suggestions, your mileage may vary!
