@DavidOlusoga@cjaxuk Wow, this is disgusting but not surprising. The real reason the French lost is the white boys -- namely Giroud and Griezeman (who was in blackface once), were miserable performers and had to be substituted off. But, by then it was too late despite the heroic efforts of Mbappe.
@jacobhensley@MayorBowser You got two inches of rain in a half-hour. How are you going to blame that on the Mayor?!
But, DCWASA will fix your problem when NE Boundary Tunnel opens next Spring which corrects a historical problem when the Feds ran the city.
@capitalweather So, will this be likely a repeat of the situation we have several years ago? I have forgotten the exact year but it was supposed to be the biggest fireworks display ever on the Mall. North of there, one could not see anything but smoke.
@Mason_Transport@DDOTDC I wish there was not such a right-angle turn in both directions to access the bridge. Since Rock Creek is not navigable, the bridge does not have to be at a right angle especially since there is no central supporting pier.
BTW: Does this bridge have a name yet?
@capitalweather@justingrieser Interesting, it appears there is a greater loss of daylight in the evening (earlier sunset) than in the morning (later sunrise). This is true even before the clocks change. Is this due to the Equation of Time? Does the inverse occur from spring to summer?
@TerpWeather Thanks for this as one can see how the I-95 tracks neatly the Fall Line which I suppose is the reason that I-95 is the snow/rain boundary in many cases.
@DYavrom San Francisco is a good comparison -- the city and the county are the same entity, and is similar roughly in size to D.C. in area and population though the demographics are vastly different (very few African-Americans live there now) The COVID-19 numerical history is similar too.
