Tax dollars are mishandled if this is our ALABAMA POLICY TO CORRECT INMATES! Building a new building will not correct the problems but to reform their system to address the real problems of drug addiction, mental illness, NO healthy diets & elderly housing programs. What good is it to house the elderly that can’t walk, run or remember? What good is it to house mentally ill if not treating their illness? What good is it to house drug addicts while they get worse & access to same or worse drugs and become mentally unstable from the drugs made of bug killer & other harmful chemicals. What good is it to house innocent because they couldn’t afford the best legal counsel? The growth of the tree 🌳 grows from the roots. The roots of this country are the people and allowing a government to control the growth is feeding us a bunch of corrupted systems! It is like feeding poison to babies.
As solutions to our problems the government needs to address the issue & stop ignoring WE THE PEOPLE! The only solution is to create a better environment for those to become better citizens. Why are we not training those inside our prisons, then releasing those who have served reasonable time and are not a threat to society so we have more employees.

My husband has served 20 years of a 30 year sentence for stealing 6 DVDs. He is an electrician, HVAC, truck driver and numerous other things. He could help on the labor shortage, earn a living, collect social security credits, have medical care, be a taxpayer and save the taxpayer incarceration costs.

The contractor can do better than this. The peanut butter is so stiff and tasteless it is barely edible. Is that really 1/2 cup of potato salad and cabbage? I also thought substitutions were limited to a certain number per month. Cabbage all the time, almost daily is too much!

Note: in FL less than 4% have “PAYING” jobs, some making less than 21 cents an hour.
