BREAKING: We are thrilled to share that we have reached an agreement with @TPINNetwork management for voluntary recognition through third party card check!
We look forward to building on this progress as we craft a stronger organization together 🥳
BREAKING: 500+ @TPINNetwork alumni sent a letter to the leadership team expressing support for the Union and encouraging TPIN to voluntarily recognize the Union.
Along with the letter, alumni submitted 40 pages of personal stories explaining why the Union is necessary.
This just in: @GovMurphy signed legislation to #SaveTheBees by limiting the most common uses of #neonics in our state.

I stand in solidarity with the @TPINUnion workers who are organizing to form a union.
TPIN must respect the constitutional right of its employees to form a union and should immediately recognize the union.
I worked for TPIN and I can hardly express how exciting and overdue this moment is. TPIN’s organizers and staffers do incredible work and they deserve a fair and living wage. THAT is how you build a lasting movement and don’t burn out promising young activists.
We are employees of The Public Interest Network (TPIN) working together for more-than-living wages, an equitable social change movement, and a sustainable culture within our organization. That’s why we’ve filed for union recognition with @OPEIU to represent staff in all branches.
So excited about this. I'm no longer working with TPIN, but I'm excited to see the work my friends and fellow organizers have done for this. I truly think this is the best step to make TPIN a more fair, just, and good place to be.
In our union, we believe that working together as a collective will help us become the strongest possible voice for the public. Here is our letter to leadership, read aloud.
We are at a climate tipping point.
On 10/29, we’re standing together with Climate Reality to say #LetsGetReal. To join, just share a post calling for the climate action we need from world leaders! Because together, we WILL be heard. https://t.co/LqTkPzcNis
Real action means cutting greenhouse gas emissions NOW. Not over-relying on offsets. Not greenwashing. But a rapid, just transition off of fossil fuels. It’s time to stop pretending.

We’re back! Today we were over 100 000 on the strike in Berlin and 620 000 in Germany alone along with many others all over the world, asking world leaders to #UprootTheSystem . There were strikes in over 80 countries! #FridaysForFuture#ClimateStrike
Over 1,400 white-sided dolphins were killed last week on the shores of the #FaroeIslands.
The annual hunt, called the Grindadráp is a tradition in the Faroe Islands.

Thank you House Democrats, including @AndyKimNJ, @RepColinAllred, @RepHorsford, @lucymcbath, @RepSlotkin, for voting to advance the 3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill.
This is the most important climate action legislation of our lifetime.
Let's get it done! 🎉
The U.S. government currently gives Big Oil and Gas more than $20.5 billion a year through tax breaks.
It is past time we stop rewarding polluters for poisoning our communities and accelerating the climate crisis. To Build Back Better, we need to end fossil fuel subsidies.
This Friday there are global climate strikes happening all over the world! I’ll join the strike in Berlin, 12.00 at the Bundestag. To find out more about the strikes happening visit https://t.co/7Er8KXm8H4 See you in the streets! #UprootTheSystem#FridaysForFuture#AlleFürsKlima
Methane pollution from the oil and gas industry is fueling the climate crisis and threatening the health and safety of our communities. It's time for the @EPA to do something about it. #ClimateWeek https://t.co/NInZAT5izT
This is a code red. The evidence is clear: climate change poses an existential threat to our lives and our livelihoods.
@POTUS' #BuildBackBetter agenda will make our communities safer and more resilient to the impacts of climate change and extreme weather events.
The climate crisis is already here. Just this month, we have seen the effects from Hurricane Ida in the Gulf & flooding in the NE, while new wildfires continue to spring up in the West. We must act now to ensure a healthy, habitable planet for future generations #ActOnClimate
