It’s the #BlackHoleWeek! Check out our hot-from-the-oven paper of NICER “Reverberation machine”, a systematic search of reverberation echoes around black holes. Not only did we increase the sample size by a factor of 5, but also cool astrophysics revealed! 🤩

Happy #BlackHoleWeek y'all! Excited to share our work on the results of the NICER "Reverberation Machine" led by 4th year MIT grad student, @JingyiWangAstro. Jingyi has increased the number of known black hole X-ray binaries with detected Reverberation lags from 3 to 11!
