Just plugged in a 20 year iPod nano (MA489LL).
No lag. No loading indicators. UI is practically instant. No touchscreen.
I plugged in my Bose headphones and played Black Eyed Peas like 2006 was yesterday. Just fucking worked. Incredible.
Technology has gotten worse in so many ways. Younger people have no idea.
@anothercohen Coros plus arm band is the best for workouts. Blows apple watch out of the water for battery life and arm band/chest strap is gold standard for hr data during workouts.
@AdamSinger If you’re just running a computer and a few lights you could rig up an RV/camper van type setup pretty easily and run like a Jackery or equivalent and power everything from an extension cord and probably skip permits.
@AdamSinger Your local AHJ probably makes solar complicated. It’s often a separate permitting process, and battery storage is the way to go but also makes the wiring a little more complicated. If you can diy it’s all fine but hiring a company to put in solar is $$.
@Marty_FTT@TarlonKhoubyari@ouraring@WHOOP Not only is it hostile but I cancelled during the trial and they billed me the next year for an annual membership. It was a debacle that took hours on the phone with them and my credit card. They lied to me and my credit card company and luckily, I had proof that they were wrong.
The brokest people you know are prolific Doordashers. Impulsivity and instant gratification drives them to make poor financial decisions (like paying $30 for some dude to deliver them a burrito).
Increase in food delivery is indicative of doomspending and loss of grey brain matter required for multi-step tasks like cooking.
Cook more.
“Oooh we’re in a bubble!!”
OK then why are Google and Amazon at all time highs with P/E ratios of ~30
Sandisk- the one that’s up 552% in 6 months- current P/E ratio of 53.
Is it that high? Yeah a little, but bubble it is not.
Lots of huge companies are making insane amounts of money.
There are definitely overpriced stocks out there but SPY has a p/e of 27.7 right now.
Maybe that’s a little overheated but far from a “bubble”
