Is there a problem with @virginmedia#broadband today? I started a live chat in the morning, it's now the afternoon, over 1.5 hours have passed and no-one from #virginmedia has bothered to talk to me. I have better things to do on my day off than this.
@iantownend@wizzair I had not heard of @Wizzair until your post. Wow just checked their website return to Warsaw, Β£34.98 that's so cheap, but now I understand why.π Good luck Ian, hope you get the flight you want at a bargain price.
@KevinGMayfield What's the issue with mentioning FHIR in interoperability conversations, if FHIR is used? I might be stuck in the noughties way of thinking, but I equate IHE with HL7v2. I appreciate IHE profiles can use FHIR now. I could do with some IHE training to update my thinking! π
@KevinGMayfield Did you really mean that #openEHR uses #IHE and #HL7? Reflecting on over a decade ago when I worked on openEHR #archetypes and #templates, I'd say #FHIR has poached, or atleast has been inspired by some modelling design ideas from openEHR! π
@DrSteveTaylor I use the @NHSEngland#NHS#App, allowing me to book the #GP I wish to see. Downsides: can't get appointment via the App on the day, may need to wait a day or two, and occasionally I might get a #locum GP, rather than the one I booked, but I can live with that.
@wesstreeting@NHSEngland@LeedsHospitals My #GP agreed its strange for a hospital to ask are you sure you want this appointment? He also agreed he wouldn't enter his #DateOfBirth on such an online form. My #GP is contacting @LeedsHospitals to find out what happened to my referral. This has caused unnecessary stress.
@Abbiedew Unfortunately too much street lighting where I live to see the #northernlights. However, I did spot this little nocturnal visitor in my back #garden. π
@shawtty64@NHSEngland I wondering if #NHS#Hospitals have the benefit of computer services department like my old employer had, that have the resources to check #Microsoft updates before deployment, rather than just blindly accepting an automatic update.
@open_Outcomes Hi @ianmcnicoll looks like an interesting session. I applied to attend #DHSS24 but was told it was for #CIOs and director level staff. I'm questioning that decision as it looks like a good learning and networking opportunity to undertand #NHS#interoperability issues.
@DrDavidWarriner So sad to read. Does make me wonder if the #NHS can identify when staff have mental health or stress issues and help them before it becomes too late. If we can't look after our staff, assets of the NHS, how can we care for patients properly?
Kicking off with a fascinating talk from @TorbaySDevonNHS Digital Futures Team. Check out their eye-tracking controlled MND wheelchair. Taking real peopleβs problems and innovating real solutions πͺ
@sairaghafur Wondering if there is a lesson here about not accepting an automatic Windows update? I would hope NHS IT departments would have the time to test updates before they are rolled out.
