Regarding this topic, something that has stuck with me for a while is when @MoveTheSticks averaged out the 40 times for all the top producing wideouts in the league at it came out to like 4.53 or something in that range.

Changed how I viewed the position to be honest.

it has a high correlation to PPR ⬅️ as well as a high correlation year to year ➡️ (data via @TJHernandez)

so fantasy points are related to target share and they are sticky year over year, what’s not to like ? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Heuristics are simple rules of thumb to help quickly and efficiently make good decisions in complex environments. I often say I'm #TeamHeuristics instead of #TeamProjections; projections attempt to quantify the complexity, heuristics attempt to simplify the complexity.
