The crazy part is these pagers were handed out to Hezbollah members to avoid using smartphones for fear of smartphones getting hacked.

I bet Hezbollah didn't consider explosive implants in their risk assessment.

We'll get more information in the coming hours, but here are my two cents:

- This is not a hack.
- The pagers were likely "modified", someone added a small explosive charge.
- They probably intercepted and tampered with the pagers before they were shipped.
