In my opinion, the #NASCAR Hall of Fame should be a shrine honoring those who rose to the highest level of the sport and had the greatest success.

That's not to say that those who had immense success in the lower divisions shouldn't be celebrated, but they should be celebrated differently. If each of these divisions is meant to have its own identity, a subsection in the HOF seems like a valid compromise.

The NASCAR HOF can be reserved for those who have found success in CUP, but there can also be sections for O'Reilly/Sportsman, Trucks, and the Grassroots ecosystem. It doesn't even have to be awarded every year; it can just be a nomination and a yes/no vote.

The way that I've been looking at it is like this:

If Justin Allgaier is going to be put in the NASCAR Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series (1 title, 30 wins), then, in theory, Corey Heim could retire TOMORROW (with just eight NASCAR Cup Series starts) and be put into the HOF (1 title, 24 wins in three years).

...and while I'm willing to bet my life savings that Corey Heim will win multiple NASCAR Cup Series events in his career, him being essentially a sure thing for the HOF before being full-time at the top-level seems like a stretch.

Here's a take: What interests me about Cleetus McFarland is he's doing something that hasn't been done before in going from YouTuber to NASCAR driver. So naturally, some people thumb their nose at it and say he's unserious or he can't do it that way.

From what I've seen of him in ARCA he can hold his water out there and not be in the way or causing (especially egregious) problems. I say let him try Trucks and O'Reilly. And by the way, if he gets out of the lead pack and just rides for a bit at Daytona we're not even having this discussion.

You can agree or disagree, but it’s clear to me that this offense only started playing the way it always should’ve because injuries and losing forced their hand. And conceptually the play-calling is still ass — against Jax we ran a play on a 3rd & 8 in the 4th with every route 4 yards short of the sticks. So this isn’t an apologist tweet towards the coaching staff.

It took Conner and Benson going down for them to say “maybe we should throw more.” Then Kyler and Reiman go down, so the dumb 3-TE stuff dies too. Marv has surgery and now we’re down to one real X… so they finally just feed him.

Funny enough, the offense now looks closer to what we envisioned numbers-wise, just not when it comes to results.
