A regular employee who dedicated decades of service lost his job, while the minister and top officials accused of siphoning millions through the male taxi corruption remain protected.
Justice has a way of finding everyone. It may be delayed, but it cannot be escaped. If not in this world, then in the hereafter.
The Adeeb case tells you all you need to know about Maldivian politicians.
Waheed made him a minister
YAG enabled his corruption
Anni got MPs to approve him
Ibu pardoned him and let him flee
Muiz refuses to pursue him
You're delusional if you believe any of them are sincere.
Seeing elderly people going frm pharmacy to pharmacy looking for essential medication is heart wrecking. The whole medical sector and the government should be ashamed of yourselves.
Mahun mahah rayyithunge laarin bodu musaara nagain rayyithunnah mihaa haalu jassan heyonuvaane.
The real question is how many instances have there been where someone has taken 10-20 cards abroad and used dollar allowance? Even if they did, its $5000.
Is that too much to handle by a bank which makes 2.5 billion??
Today as I was travelling by sea, I was thinking of how vast and powerful the ocean is and how it is one of the Ayat of Allah.
Allah says:
"Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding."
Then I remebered how yesterday the little crusader Marco was saying how the US are so powerful they can do whatever they want.
But the reality that they have no real power.
We could take the US, the Chinese, Russians and all the Kuffar, along with all the apostate rulers of the Muslim lands, take all their scientists, armies, propagandists and supporters.
Let every single one of them gather and the reality is that between them they do not even have the power to create a single drop of water from nothing.
Not even a single drop.
Yet our Lord created the vast oceans, rivers, lakes and waterways and He sends down the rain from the sky.
One should never loose hope because of the perceived power of the Kuffar, for it is nothing.
And how lost is the one who looses hope and thinks that if we hold firm to Islam then that will bring loss and defeat, when holding firm to Islam is the very thing that will bring the help of the One who created those oceans.
Allah says
يَآأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِن تَنصُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرۡكُمۡ وَيُثَبِّتۡ أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ
O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.
And so be firm and have no doubt, victory is for Islam.
You are asking the right questions and then sprinting to the wrong conclusion.
Yes.
The Muslim governments did almost nothing.
The Arab regimes did almost nothing.
The so-called rising powers did not send planes to break the siege.
But instead of asking "Why is America allowed to do this," you turned it into "See, America is the only one who really shows up."
Let’s separate three things you are mixing.
1. The Muslim and Arab regimes
"What do you call 50+ Muslim countries who watched a live genocide and did nothing?"
I call many of them exactly what Washington built them to be:
Client regimes.
Comprador elites.
Palaces guarded by Western weapons and Western intelligence.
Most of them are not free actors.
Their security architecture, banking systems, militaries, and ruling families are wired into U.S. and European power.
They are terrified of sanctions.
Terrified of capital flight.
Terrified of the day their own people rise and they need Washington to save the throne.
They are not "the Muslim world."
They are a thin layer of very rich men sitting on top of the Muslim world, who will trade anything for regime survival.
So yes, they watched.
They normalized.
They signed gas deals and arms contracts while children were pulled out of rubble.
That is not a point in America’s favor. It is evidence of how thoroughly U.S. power has domesticated its own supposed "rivals" in the region.
2. China, Russia, and the "contenders"
"What do you call the contenders of super power status who have immense wealth and military power and formidable air force but did not intervene militarily?"
I call them powers that understand one thing very clearly:
You live inside a nuclear-armed security architecture, global dollar system, and media monopoly designed precisely to make it suicidal to touch the red lines around U.S. and Israeli actions.
You can criticize them at the UN.
You can send aid.
You can do de-dollarization on the margins.
You can form blocs and vote against resolutions.
But if you fly jets into that airspace, you are not "protecting civilians."
You are rolling dice with nuclear escalation.
You do not get moral superiority because other powers refuse to start a world war over your ally’s atrocities.
3. "At least America stands with its ally"
"Right or wrong, at least give credit to the U.S. that it stands with its closest ally and bleeds for it time and time again."
If your friend is stabbing a child and you hold his coat, you do not get moral credit for loyalty.
"Standing with your ally" is not a virtue when the thing you are standing behind is ethnic cleansing, mass starvation, and bombardment of trapped civilians.
America is not "bleeding for" Israel.
It is bleeding others for it.
It sends the bombs.
It pays the bills.
It vetoes ceasefires.
It threatens anyone who tries to hold the perpetrators accountable.
Calling that "bleeding for an ally" is like calling a mafia boss noble because he always shows up for his favorite hitman.
4. "If the counter-balance is pathetic, one force legitimately rules"
Here is the core of your argument:
"When the expected counter-balance forces are too pathetic, then only one force legitimately rules."
No. That is not legitimacy. That is impunity.
If I put a gun to a room, burn the strongest voices for a generation, trap everyone in my financial system, scatter bases across the planet and make sure anyone who defies me risks annihilation, and then nobody stops me, that does not mean I "legitimately rule."
It means I rule by fear, inertia, and the ruins of everyone who tried to resist before.
You say, "there is no reason to complain but to introspect why the world allowed it to happen."
We are introspecting.
We are asking why so many Muslim and Arab regimes are U.S. clients.
Why independent leaders were overthrown or assassinated.
Why any serious attempt to build a truly sovereign bloc has been sabotaged for decades.
You are right that profits and business come first.
But ask whose profits. Ask whose business.
The fact that much of the world is too compromised, too dependent, or too afraid to stop a genocide does not cleanse the hands of the one running it.
It simply widens the circle of complicity.
So what do I call those 50+ governments, those Arab leaders, those "contenders" who did not intervene?
I call them compromised.
I call them captured.
I call them afraid of losing their place at a table that is already soaked in blood.
And what do I call the power that uses that paralysis to grind a people into dust on live television, then demands "credit" for standing by its ally?
I call that empire.
Not legitimate.
Just unpunished.
For now.
In the past two days, what we have witnessed from secular and apostate accounts is the hatred they harbor within themselves. Their masks of humanity and respect for rights have fallen off, revealing their true colors, a pharaonic similitude of slaughtering babies, condemning them for the "crime" of being born to their families. We must not allow any sympathy for them, but actively reject any sympathy for them and hope for their demise.
{O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends) those outside your religion, since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses) if you understand.}
When police raid the homes of commoners under the allegation of terrorism based on intelligence reports without any proper evidence and then those people are remanded without trial for a long time, no one cares or bats an eye.
