Mr. President, Ukraine did not “start” this war. Russia launched an unprovoked and brutal invasion claiming hundreds of thousands of lives. The Road to Peace must be built on the Truth.🇺🇸🇺🇦

.@KTeaFahey & @RankMIVote: "The solution to the “spoiler problem” is not to attack independent and third-party candidates, shame their supporters or use the courts to limit voters’ choices."
It's fixing our broken elections and giving every voter a true voice.
Republicans use ranked-choice voting to elect their leader (not technically RCV, but sequential rounds of voting in which bottom candidate is eliminated -- essentially a form of RCV). Why? Because they want a leader who comes closest to being the true preference of a majority of the caucus, rather than the favorite of a faction of the party. A plurality-winner rule could empower a factional leader.

@shough195@uniteamerica@NickTroiano Hearts and minds - we have to invest in grassroots- it's a lot harder to sway a voter with ad when they've talked to their neighbors and friends about the issue
Question 1, which asked about placing limits on donations to political action committees that independently spend money to try to support or defeat candidates, won in a landslide with the AP calling it with the support of almost three-quarters of Maine voters.
Only a small number of congressional races are considered toss-ups going into November. Most are in districts drawn by independent commissions or courts. #MsReads via @BrennanCenter
