@21stEnglish The threshold for changing the mark at review is high, anything within 5 marks would be considered a reasonable mark. So a jump from 17-25 would be necessary as the original mark wasn't fair. But with this essay they wouldn't move it unless they thought it should be 25 or over.

@PatrickCragg@WilkieMaguire@TeacherBusy We went fully mixed ability with year 9 this year, but on reflection taking them into year 10 are going to recreate a nurture group. I have mixed feelings about it, but think ultimately it's right for our context.
