@Jason My estimate that Covid is a result of a lab leak is 95%. However, I doubt that the particular work which dealt with its bat progenitor was funded by the US — I think this was WIV alone doing research that was originally MEANT to be funded by EcoHealth/DARPA (see DEFUSE proposal).

@KristerKauppi@aubreydegrey Never published. We couldn't get funding to expand the study beyond pilot stage, and I didn't have the resources to self-fund. The study section reviewers didn't think it was interesting enough I guess. Unfortunatley, a lot of important science never gets done for this reason
