@KYMaverickreal@GlammaSooz HIPAA doesn’t allow a dr to call family to get “collateral” if doing so would be disclosing the fact the person is a patient of the dr. Alerting her parents she was seeing the dr by calling to ask questions without her permission is a HIPAA violation.
@ADH1485@ProsecutorsPod This should be the defense’s argument. Untreated undiagnosed Bipolar, which I think there’s enough evidence to support. Linking to SSRI use is confusing people.
@ProsecutorsPod I agree no evidence she was diagnosed with a manic episode. But some of her behavior can be part of bipolar diagnosis (excessive energy, frantic cleaning, not sleeping). That was summer so prob not relevant but want to hear all med testimony.
@tiredofthemall@theMakarioz Hmm, my guess is if she’d said “Let me call someone to come pay my bill,” the officer would’ve been happy to let her to do that. She wanted to go to the restroom so she could sneak out.
