The daughter of a Russian pianist was abducted in Mexico
Her parents fear she may not be rescued before she reaches adulthood.
Fifteen-year-old Kristina Romanova was abducted in 2023 just outside her school in Mexico. According to her mother, individuals posing as social services forcibly put her into a minibus with official markings, after which police refused to register the kidnapping.
Kristina was later located in a facility but was never returned to her parents. The family claims she is being held against her will, and that a cartel linked to corrupt local authorities may be behind her disappearance.
According to her mother, medical reports indicate that Kristina was drugged, raped, and moved between different cities during this time.
She is now 17, and her parents fear that once she reaches adulthood, she could be completely hidden and sold into slavery.
In a country where disappearances are widespread, such cases are not uncommon.

A full MIT course on visual autonomous navigation.
If you work on robotics, drones, or self-driving systems, this one is worth bookmarking‼️
MIT’s Visual Navigation for Autonomous Vehicles course covers the full perception-to-control stack, not just isolated algorithms.
What it focuses on:
• 2D and 3D vision for navigation
• Visual and visual-inertial odometry for state estimation
• Place recognition and SLAM for localization and mapping
• Trajectory optimization for motion planning
• Learning-based perception in geometric settings
All material is available publicly, including slides and notes.

i trained Llama 2 on a $5 computer with less processing power than a thermostat.
it’s called 🥧 PiTorch: an ML library for Raspberry Pi Zeros.
i cover how to make it from scratch, from writing assembly GPU kernels to sending bytes over wires. (no hardware background needed!)
What if a $2 toy could become a real FPV aircraft? ✈️
Pro Know turned a toy plane into a phone-controlled FPV RC build using XIAO ESP32-S3 Sense — streaming live video while controlling flight over Wi-Fi.
A wild mix of DIY electronics, custom PCB design, and real-time control.

Modern DRAM is based on a brilliant design from IBM.
But, we're still paying for a latency penalty that's existed since the 60s!
In this video, I'm introducing my research project (Tailslayer) that immensely reduces p99.99 latency on traditional RAM!
By implementing a hedged read strategy taking advantage of (undocumented!) channel scrambling offsets, I've gotten as much as 15x reductions in tail latency.
The technique works across Intel, AMD, Graviton, DDR4, DDR5, x86, ARM, you name it.
Check out the C++ lib I wrote, watch the video, and try it yourself!
