The children of Tigray have been starving and disconnected from the world since November 2020. No food, no phone, no medicine, no hope.
And now they're being bombed. What a horrible world.
You know ethiopia is a location of moral shambles when a segment of its society takes a deep joy in the atrocious conduct of airstrike by the central Gov’t against one of its region (Tigray) killing school children and civilians.
What have we become now???
Seeing a dismembered body of a child should be OUTRAGEOUS and DISGUSTING.
@WFPChief you are a disgrace to humanity and to those humanitarian workers who are putting their lives at risk to serve those in need.
Those we’re speaking to in #Tigray say since yesterday there’s been an Ethiopian Gov comms blackout; phones across the region - other than Mekelle - are down. No internet. Roads into Tigray blocked, air travel halted. People are scared as to what could be coming next.
The horrible death of the @MSF workers in Ethiopia's Tigray region is another example of attacking food and medical aid as a method of war in this conflict -- a blatant war crime. Ethiopian & Eritrean forces have been responsible for many of these attacks. https://t.co/57XrUoRbOk
Few days ago @AbiyAhmedAli, on a national TV, said "we don't trust humanitarian workers in #Tigray. They are there to help Junta", adding "we have to commit foul to win" using football analogy to make his point.
Sadly, today 3 @MSF workers are killed. @SecBlinken@JosepBorrellF
An airstrike on a village market in Tigray is just the latest ruthless attack against civilians at the hands of the Ethiopian gov’t & its partners since the war began 8 months ago. Fighting is intensifying, famine is growing, & human rights abuses are rampant. This must end.
When Ethiopia bombs Ethiopian civilians why do you ask Ethiopian government to hold itself accountable? This makes no sense. #TogogaMassacre#TigrayGenocide
You who declare me #TPLF if I speak out against the #TigrayGenocide and the #TogogaMassacre or stand with #Oromo You who beg for Ethiopian national unity, but are more than ready to sacrifice any Tegaru or Oromo for your supposed peace. This is not unity this is a travesty.
An air strike killed dozens of people in the town of Tagogon in Ethiopia's Tigray region, an eyewitness and a medical official told Reuters, a day after residents said new fighting had flared in recent days north of the regional capital Mekelle https://t.co/QfiabQchWp
