You have to be able to complete the agentic OODA loop under self-supervision, otherwise you need another human to micromanage every aspect of the process, which doesn't scale.

Basic technical question: What are the differences between steel and aluminum? Why aren't structures made of titanium? What acceleration does a passenger experience in an airplane banked at some angle?

These are not random gotchas, they are customized based on projects described in a resume or on a portfolio website. If you say you used inverse kinematics to calibrate the end-effector trajectory on the robot arm you built, I will ask you about accumulation of error, backlash, and noise tolerance.
