Proud to highlight @kylewestaway in this episode of New Precedents. One of the most forward-thinking lawyers I've met.
Yes, he uses AI. But it's been most interesting to see how he has architected the firm of the future from the ground up—starting with his billing model.
Models frozen on historic global data can misjudge local truth. Agents climb the steepest hill in front of them, but it may not be the one the user wants them on. Now the interesting product frontier isn't feeding models fresher facts — it's drawing the right objective out of the user and packaging it up for AI. That's a super complex pathway to solve, but awesome work being done there @noah_weiss@nuance_ai@thinkymachines
The most important professional conversations and the best ideas rarely happen in front of a screen. They happen in the moments between meetings, over the phone and across tables. Yet many of the tools we rely on to capture them were built for a desk-bound world that doesn't reflect how most people actually work. As a result, follow-ups are forgotten, information stays siloed, and great ideas can slip away.
@Heypocket solves this. Built by co-founders @AkshayNarisetti and @gabrieldymowski, Pocket is a dedicated AI device that helps people stay present. Elegant enough that you don’t have to remember to bring it with you and capable enough that it captures everything you need it to. Joining the Pocket journey as we participate in the Seed round, we’re looking forward to supporting the team as they reimagine the way people reflect, recall and work.
Welcome to the Accel family, Pocket! Read more from Cecilia Wang and Matt Robinson ⬇️ https://t.co/SwJqxGBIPn
Today’s security tools were built for a world where developers wrote the code. As agents author and ship more software, vulnerabilities are becoming harder to trace, understand, and fix.
@TolmoHQ is changing this.
Supabase has raised $500M at a $10B valuation
In this round we are giving @supabase employees the opportunity to cash out 25% of their vested options. We have done this in every round since inception.
We do it as a “cashless transaction” so that employees don’t need to front any cash to exercise their options. This is the friendliest way we could design it until we can offer RSUs.
On top of that, we give employees a 10 year exercise window: whether they stay or leave the company. The typical/default window is 3 months. IMO, equity is earned and employees shouldn't be penalized because they don't have the cash to exercise within 3 months of leaving a job (often that's the time they need the cash/certainty the most).
Congratulations to @DecagonAI for being named to the 2026 @CNBC Disruptor 50 list - this recognition reflects what we've watched up close: 10x YoY growth and fast enterprise adoption across sectors. The list is an amazing milestone. The traction is the story.
Today we’re introducing Forus and announcing $160M to build the foundation for modern medicine.
Science should be the only limit to medicine. Today it isn’t. Drug discovery is moving faster, but the system that turns it into real-world treatment isn’t.

On a bonus episode of Accel’s Spotlight On, Arkady Volozh of @nebiusai discusses what the agentic era means for AI infrastructure and why it is a completely new set of tools for a completely new set of users.

I'm thrilled to announce @nova_ai's $40M funding across a Series A led by @chemistry and a Seed led by @Accel, with participation from @conviction and SAP's venture arm https://t.co/UuQkPJw9H0.
Today, we are thrilled to officially launch RadixArk with $100M in Seed funding at a $400M valuation. The round was led by @Accel and co-led by @sparkcapital.
RadixArk exists to make frontier AI infrastructure open and accessible to everyone. Today, the systems behind the most capable AI models are concentrated in a small number of companies. As a result, most AI teams are forced to rebuild training and inference stacks from scratch, duplicating the same infrastructure work instead of focusing on new models, products, and ideas.
RadixArk was founded to change that. We are building an AI platform that makes it easier for teams to train and serve the best models at scale.
RadixArk comes from the open-source community. We started with SGLang, where many of us are core developers and maintainers, and expanded our work to Miles for large-scale RL and post-training. We will continue contributing to both projects and working with the community to make them the strongest open-source infrastructure foundations for frontier AI.
We would like to thank our long-term partners, contributors, and the broader SGLang community for believing in this mission. We're also grateful to @Accel and @sparkcapital, NVentures (Venture capital arm of @nvidia), Salience Capital, A&E Investment, @HOFCapital, @walden_catalyst, @AMD, LDVP, WTT Fubon Family, @MediaTek, Vocal Ventures, @Sky9Capital and our angel investors @ibab, @LipBuTan1, Hock Tan, @johnschulman2, @soumithchintala, @lilianweng, @oliveur, @Thom_Wolf, @LiamFedus, @robertnishihara, @ericzelikman, @OfficialLoganK, and @multiply_matrix among others.
Thanks for the exclusive interview with @MeghanBobrowsky at @WSJ about our vision.
Forbes’s AI 50 List highlights the world’s most promising privately-held AI companies, judged on commercial traction, technical talent, and how seriously they've embedded AI into what they build. @AnthropicAI, @cursor_ai, @cyera_io, @DecagonAI, @GammaApp, @WeAreLegora, @Lovable, @perplexity_ai, @speak, @SynthesiaIO, and @thinkymachines made the list. In what Forbes called a highly competitive field, this is a testament to these teams’ sharp ideas and real technical depth.

@AcquiredFM That's a pretty big bet. But I guess you do what you can do within the regulation. I wonder if there's any way to track effectiveness of the brand impact of the bar code?
Omg...
I switched from ChatGPT to Claude for content writing and my engagement shot up 340% across all platforms. 😳
The secret? These 10 prompts that make Claude write like an actual human.
Here's exactly what I use:
10/10 Check out the 5-hour @AcquiredFM deep dive on Rolex. It’s not a story about jewelry; it’s a story about engineering, branding, survival, and the brilliance of Hans Wilsdorf. 10/10 recommendation. Check out my notes on the podcast here: https://t.co/4P3PUxwDOM
1/10 The @ROLEX company is a series of paradoxes. They sell "obsolete" mechanical tech for 1000x the price of a digital watch... and demand is at an all-time high. How did a company built on utility become the ultimate status symbol? h/t @AcquiredFM 🧵👇
9/10 Vertical integration is the "secret sauce." Rolex makes its own gold (Everose), its own steel (904L), and even its own machinery. They don’t just make watches; they make the things that make the watches. 🛠️
