@xwanyex We all should be, but I truly believe you can harness that fear and convert it to creativity.
When the stakes are high enough that life and death decisions are a regular part of a craft, everything is more meaningful.
@HailstoneChip@kedward402 Why is it just sitting on your porch? I’ve always wanted to carve something out of a mammoth tusk, but I’m guessing it’s way more expensive than I could reasonably spend.
@fearmeitsbre@MattisRedacted I don’t think a surgery scar would create such a sharp line and also cast a shadow under itself as though there was a thin material hanging in front of his neck.
@KunalLobo@MattisRedacted It really seems like you’re just repeating talking points you heard about this topic in response to opinions they aren’t even relevant to, as though debating politics is a puzzle game where you just have to string phrases together in the correct order to win.
@GPrime85 I agree, but I also think we should turn more products into works of art.
Look at basically any American car made before the late 70s compared to now. Owning a 15 foot long work of art made with American steel used to be normal. Now Ford makes no sedans, only lumpy SUVs.
@anarch97 All of my friends and I are very happy with our girlfriends, we’re all in our late 20s.
I think a lot of people have unrealistic expectations of love and believe that unless someone has every single trait and feature they want in a partner, it’s not “true love.”
@Rattivik@woofknight@JoshuaTookes I haven’t read that but it sounds like that Futurama episode where Leela’s parents were always watching out for her when she didn’t even know they existed.
@shagbark_hick I don’t doubt it, but whenever I hear a piece of advice that would greatly disrupt society if most people followed through with it (not even considering if it would be realistic for them to be able to), it makes me question it even if I agree with the premise.
